Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel-Motel Coconut in Trois Rivieres, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings at the on-site bar. The continental breakfast included a variety of healthy choices, perfect for starting the day right. As a landscape photographer constantly on the move, having a nutritious breakfast readily available was a delightful convenience. On one evening, I decided to unwind at the bar and was impressed by the ambiance. The decor transported me to a tropical paradise, a stark contrast to the serene Canadian wilderness I am accustomed to capturing. While enjoying a drink, I couldn't help but appreciate the attention to detail in creating a cozy atmosphere. The menu, though not extensive, featured well-prepared dishes that satisfied my palate. The simplicity of the flavors highlighted the quality of the ingredients used. The staff was attentive, and their recommendations were spot on, adding to the overall dining experience.Hotel-Motel Coconut may not boast a Michelin-starred restaurant, but its culinary innovation and inviting setting left a lasting impression. For those seeking a relaxing getaway with a touch of culinary flair, this hidden gem in Trois Rivieres is worth considering. My only regret is not having more time to indulge in the gastronomic delights it has to offer.
